The Coil Mac
The Coil Mac is a heavy-duty spiral binding punch perfect for
offices, scrapbook or rubber stamp stores, and schools. The Coil Mac will
punch up to 17 sheets of 20# paper at once, and will punch one sheet of mat
board at a time. The Coil Mac also features an adjustable depth guide,
which allows you to adjust the margin of your book based on the book's thickness
or the size of the coils used for binding. The Coil Mac has five
disengageable dies, which make it easier to punch a variety of paper sizes, and
an adjustable side margin that makes it simple to center the punched
holes. The throat of the Coil Mac is open on the right, which facilitates
the punching of oversized documents.

If you want to punch mat board covers occasionally, you can use the Japanese
book drill to drill the holes one at a time, using a template.
If you want to punch mat board often, you might consider the Coil
Mac. The
Coil Mac is larger and heavier than the RubiCoil, and punches one piece of mat
board at time with ease.

Both the RubiCoil and the Coil
Mac punch four 4mm holes per inch -- so the same 4:1 spiral
coils we sell can be used with either machine.
Spiral coils ordered with the Coil Mac machine will be
discounted by 25%. The coils discount and the shipping charge for the Coil Mac
will be figured into the total AFTER the order is received, and will not show on
the shopping cart total. An itemized receipt will be included in the
package with the coils.
The Coil Mac, like the RubiCoil, is shipped directly from the West Coast
warehouse. Because the shopping cart calculates shipping only from our
offices in Atlanta, shipping charges for the Coil Mac will not be shown on the
shopping cart order total, but will be added manually after the order is
received.
