The Crop-A-Dile is an innovative tool with many uses... it punches 1/8" and
3/16" holes (even in METAL and BOOKBOARD), sets 1/8" and 3/16"
eyelets, and sets those flat-top eyelets often called snaps. It does all
these tasks without separate attachments -- this one tool does it all with the
turn of a dial.The hole punching features are especially convenient... the Crop-A-Dile punches a perfect hole in metal lunchboxes, Altoids tins and metal embellishments! I wanted a larger hole in a metal watch face, and the Crop-A-Dile handled that with a quick and easy squeeze of the pink-cushioned handle! The hole punch "arm" has an opening in it, so you can see through that little window to position the punched hole exactly where you need it.
Like many of us, I have carpal tunnel syndrome, and I found this very easy to use, with no strain on my sore wrist.
I will never give up my Home Pro Long-Reach eyelet punch and setter because of its versatility and its long reach, but the Crop-A-Dile is definitely going into my tool bag because of its portability. The price is right, too. The Crop-A-Dile is just $25.99.
